EXIT
2020/7/25-2020/8/11
For a young life, what matters most may not be the appearance and body bestowed by youth, but rather that restless, emotionally charged heart. That heart perceives everything with vividness yet endures with weight, yearning desperately for an outlet — a way to express and release. During the COVID-19 pandemic, this longing for an "exit" became even more palpable. Isolation confined not only our bodies but also our emotions and thoughts, making the need to escape — from monotony, fear, and overwhelming information — a collective desire.
This exhibition explores "Exit" as a theme through various lenses: a way out of physical confinement, a release from emotional turmoil, and a means to transcend societal pressures and existential uncertainty. Through multimedia installations, paintings, and video art, we capture the ways in which people — especially the young — sought paths to navigate inner chaos and external restrictions.
By presenting these works, we invite you to reflect on your own exits — the paths taken to cope, to survive, to find meaning. In a world that often feels like a maze with no way out, perhaps art can serve as both a compass and a key.
